Industrial Services Division
When the Denholm Group began diversifying in the early 1980s the North Sea was one of the emerging sources for oil and gas and Denholm invested in companies serving the industry.
Painting of both vessels and oil rigs brought a need for cleaning and jetting and in turn for scaffolding. This multi-discipline organisation became Denholm Industrial Services, serving both the oil and gas industry, and ship and construction projects.
The nature of the oil and gas industry resulted in the demerger of Denholm Oilfileld Services into a separate group in September 2015. This has enabled Denholm Industrial Services to specialise in the contracting market covering vessel painting and coating, scaffolding, infrastructure projects (motorway and rail bridges) and concrete cleaning and surface preparation.
