J. & J. Denholm welcomes Jason Borstal as the new Group Head of IT. Jason has been appointed to provide technology vision and leadership to the Group and to align IT infrastructure with the operational requirements of the Denholm Group companies.
Jason’s career spans 30 years in IT, with 20 of those years in IT leadership positions. Working for multinationals and small-to-medium size enterprises, Jason has partnered with those businesses to leverage technology, including AI and Big Data, that not only supports but also creates competitive advantage.
Jason started on the 9th November 2020 and has been working closely with current Head of IT, Tom Brown, in transition to Tom’s retirement from the Group at the end of 2020.
Group Managing Director, Ben MacLehose, commented, “I am delighted that Jason Borstal has joined the Denholm Group as our new Group Head of IT, at a time when the Group is going through an exciting phase in our continuing evolution. To support this evolution, Jason will lead the strategic development, transformational change and operational management of the technology function and the overall digital capability of the organisation.”

During that time, Tom has played a key role in ensuring our investment in IT continues to provide value, while also safeguarding the security and resilience of our systems. We have a lot to thank Tom for and I wish him the very best in his upcoming retirement.”
